What the work looks like

Three illustrations, one for each kind of work we do, then a screen recording of a demo we built. The names and numbers in all of them are made up. What the software does with them is not.

AI answers can be wrong. Verify against the governing spec before acting.

Work that should be automatic

Every Monday I go through last week's field tickets and type the hours and equipment into our cost spreadsheet. It takes most of the morning and I have transposed a number before now.

TK-4471 — the equipment line lists two units where the sheet has one column. Pick one or split the line.

TK-4488 — the total reads 41.5 and the daily lines add to 39.5. It has not guessed which is right.

16 are ready to write to the cost sheet.

Who signed off the pressure test on the north header, and was the relief valve certificate current on that date?

One item needs you.

A message from the fabricator moves a delivery you have downstream work booked against.

“the spools for the north header will now ship the week of the 24th rather than the 17th”

That is the sentence it is based on.

How VincBuddy works

Example of what we build

Example: field tickets → cost sheet

A demo we built on fictional data to show the kind of work we do. It is not a product you can buy.

Six fictional, messy oilfield field tickets go to an open-weights AI model (Qwen) running on our own server in Alberta. In this run it reads them in about 42 seconds, shown on screen in real time.

Every line on the cost sheet links back to the exact ticket and row it came from, and the totals roll up by AFE.

The checks flag what a person must confirm: a math error, a duplicate ticket, an off-list rate and a stain-covered hours field. In this run, the model left the stained field blank instead of guessing it.

The clicks are scripted so the run can be repeated. Nothing in the recording is cut or sped up.

Now tell us about your operation.

These are illustrations and a demo. The real version starts with you telling us what your operation does by hand, and us telling you whether it is worth building.
