1. Try Before You Pay
Every Vincoder subscription starts with a 7-day free trial with full access. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged — your access simply continues until the trial ends. We encourage you to use the trial to make sure Vincoder works for you before any payment is made.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If Vincoder is not what you expected, we offer a full refund of your first subscription payment when you request it within 14 days of that payment. No forms, no hard feelings.
- The guarantee applies to your first payment after the free trial
- Renewal payments are not refundable, except where required by law — cancel anytime before renewal to avoid the next charge
- When a refund is issued, your subscription and access end at that time
3. How to Request a Refund
Purchases are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record — Paddle appears on your card statement and issues your invoice. You can request a refund either way:
- Email us at contact@vincdata.ca from your account email with the word “refund” — we handle the rest
- Or reply to your Paddle receipt email / use paddle.net to contact Paddle directly
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by Paddle, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
4. Canceling Your Subscription
You can cancel anytime from your VincData dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for (or until your trial ends). Canceling is not the same as requesting a refund — if you want your first payment back within the 14-day window, tell us that too.
5. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer protection law, including Alberta's Consumer Protection Act and equivalent laws in your place of residence. Where such laws grant you a broader refund or cancellation right, those laws prevail.
